GUADALAJARA CONSULATE - THE BUTTERFLY EFFECT - NORMAN MOONEY

Workspace11 founder artist Norman Mooney was commissioned by the Department of State to produce a sculpture for the grounds of the new American Consulate complex in Guadalajara, MEXICO. The 20 ft diameter sculpture is Fabricated from hand-formed mirror-polished stainless steel. The work weighs 5 tons and is engineered to withstand hurricane loads and seismic D earthquakes.
