ST. REGIS

Workspace11 designed, engineered, fabricated, and installed the grand feature staircase for the new St. Regis Residences in Rye, New York.

Developed in close collaboration with Forrest Perkins Interior Design, the stair was inspired by the organic geometry of a nautilus shell. The free-floating structure was fabricated from induction-bent steel tubing with an internal rib system supporting decorative finishes in patinated bronze and marmorino plaster. The staircase integrates seamlessly into the building’s oculus, creating a dramatic architectural focal point.
