The Italian Cultural Institute _ Trash to Beauty _ Vittorio Corsini
Workspace11 was responsible for the design development, engineering, fabrication, and installation of Lo sguardo di Peccioli (Peccioli’s Gaze), part of the Trash to Beauty exhibition curated by Brett Littman at The Italian Cultural Institute, 686 Park Avenue.
The team fabricated a multimedia structure that supports the artwork’s imagery while integrating seamlessly with the historic façade of the landmarked Fifth Avenue building. Workspace11 collaborated closely with the Powerhouse Arts digital print team to ensure precise alignment, structural integrity, and faithful presentation of the artist’s vision. Originally installed on the side of a historic church in Peccioli, Italy, the piece celebrates the people and community of the town.
